This project was what introduced me deeply into MooTools. It’s actually during this project that I red the “MooTools Essentials” book (twice) and enjoyed the experimentation.

I also had to develop a whole CMS for the client, in the form of an admin panel. Back then, I didn’t really knew what WordPress was capable of. I’m still using the CMS as a stand-alone installation for some clients though. It has proven useful for me since I used this opportunity to develop some script with MooTools.

WPTouch – A nice touch

by Nickolas on Jan.21, 2010, under Random bits

Well, I never tougth I’d install something for mobile support, but the plugin grabbed a few nano seconds of my attention span…

What it does is simple: enable iPhone/iPodTouch/Android support for your website. It does not modify the way your website works, but simply make it compatible for those mobile.

I’m actually impressed at how simple it is to make it works. I only had to install it and voila!

Kudos to the team that worked on that.

WPML Updates

by Nickolas on Jan.21, 2010, under Random bits

Those guys at WPML are really hard at work. There recent release can now translate plugins! No more pain with the MO files, etc.

I’m gonna give that thing a try and see if it works well.
